Courtney Stock (B. 1987, Malden, MA) lives and works in Boston, MA. Stock makes both hard and soft sculptures, working with plaster, concrete, fiber, and biographical/found materials. Stock’s process is avidly experimental and very tactile, with a ‘hand curiosity’ often driving the work.
Stock earned an MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from San Francisco Art Institute, and a BA from Bowdoin College.
